Angela Rose Libby will be performing the special musical number "Be Still". Angela is a fun, playful, positive, California Girl, living in the South. She has
southern charm, pizazz, southern hospitality, without the southern drawl. She
is a single mother of 4 amazing daughters, who are the greatest joys, and
blessings in her life. Of all her accomplishments, this is by far the greatest
and most treasured to her.She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Healer, and Thought Transformer by day, and a Domestic Goddess, problem solver, Life of the party, and Chauffeur by night. She has been a Massage Therapist for 30 years, and has also taught preschool for 12 years, she has had training in Music Therapy, and worked with children with special needs, along with working as the nursery leader in her ward for 7 years.
She loves children, and can sometimes be seen in restaurant play areas with her bubble gun blowing bubbles as the children and her laugh and play together, or she can be seen driving around town in her car with eyelashes, as people smile, laugh and wave.
A convert to the church she has a strong testimony of the power of prayer, reading scriptures, and staying close to the Lord to hear His voice speak louder than the worlds.
She began singing from a young age. ( her mom says that she came out singing, but i don't think that kind of singing counts.) She began writing songs when she was 16 years old after teaching herself to play the guitar. Growing up with many trials, and experiences, she found that Music was her refuge and her direct communication from God to her personally. She realized quickly that by Surrendering, Being still, Looking for the gift in each experience, Listening, and Trusting God, that He would help her through every trial, every heartache, sorrow, or pain she would have to bear. She has sung for weddings, funerals, conferences, written a book called new beginnings, made Cd's of her original songs, has written over 250 songs. And is in the process of writing an inspirational book of original quotes with pictures.
Her Goal in life is to make a positive difference in the world. To inspire, uplift, motivate and teach others. To help remind them of who they are and whose they are, through her songs, her words, actions, her testimony and her love.
